Ms. Jefferis has over 20 years of experience practicing law. She received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with double majors in Music and Philosophy from Bowling Green State University. She received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Toledo. She was admitted to practice in the State of West Virginia in 1991 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995. Her experience includes serving as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Criminal Defense Counsel, and General Practitioner. For the past ten (10) years her practice has been dedicated to Family and Marital Law, as an Attorney/Advocate for her clients, a neutral Certified Family Law Mediator for parties who wish to negotiate an amicable settlement, and as a trained Parent Coordinator in high-conflict divorces and family matters.Ms. Jefferis was formerly a named partner of Attridge, Lucas, Green, Jefferis, Magee and Magazine, PA. She started with the firm in 2000 when it was Attridge, Cohen and Lucas and remained with the firm for over eight years until March of 2008. In March of 2008, Ms. Jefferis ventured out to start her own practice dedicated to family law. Ms. Jefferis is dedicated to the practice of family law and treats her clients with respect and dignity.
